Many ask us: Why do you actually do this?

The honest answer: We enjoy it. Most of the money flows into development and operations. Next goal: a community for individual players and groups, Q1 2027.

«Why do you actually do this?» This is the question we get asked most often. Usually friendly, sometimes suspicious. Both are justified. So here is the honest answer, without the marketing fog. Because we enjoy it That is the biggest part of the truth. We like building. We love the moment when a feature goes from a scribble on a piece of paper to something someone actually uses. The playbook last week was exactly such a moment – someone asked, we built it, now it's there. This joy is not faked. It is the engine. And what comes in? The largest part flows directly back: into development, hosting and administration . Servers cost money. Data maintenance costs money. The 4'000+ draws that are calculated for every prediction don't compute themselves. We are not a corporation with a marketing budget. We are a project that sustains itself and keeps growing. That is not spectacular. But it is true. The next big goal: a community Now the exciting part. Almost two thirds of Swiss people have taken part in a money game at some point – lotteries being by far the most popular form. How many of them play SwissLotto regularly is not publicly known exactly. According to Swisslos, around one million people play when the jackpot is big. These people have one thing in common: Very many of them have long been playing in groups. The office lottery pool. The family that has been sharing the same numbers for years. The club that pools money every week. But today this runs on notes, in WhatsApp groups and through one person who has to keep track of everything. Who paid in? Which numbers are running? Who owns what if something comes in? That is exactly where we want to go. One app. One community. Play alone or together – you decide. With shared tickets, a clean balance for the whole group and clear shares. No more notes, no more discussions, no more «I thought you had paid in». If you prefer to play alone, you keep playing alone. That remains completely equal. And now the most important thing: your data Here we will be very clear, because this is the point on which such a project stands or falls. Privacy, anonymity and security are our priority 1. Not as a feature you add later. But as the foundation on which the community is built from the first line of code. And because honesty is our brand core, we also say this: Nobody in this world should promise you «absolute security». Anyone who does has either not thought it through or wants to sell you something. What we can promise you instead, and bindingly: You decide what is visible. The default is the minimum, not the maximum. Pseudonyms instead of real names. In a group, nobody needs to know your real name. Groups only see what they need to see. Your personal balance remains your personal balance. No sharing and no selling of your data. To anyone. Swiss data protection law and GDPR as a minimum standard, not as a goal. Leave at any time. Without questions, without leftovers. These points are here so that you can hold us to them. That is exactly why we write them down. Implementation: Q1 2027 And finally, the number we would most like to make smaller: First quarter of 2027. That sounds far away. But it is the honest answer. A community where money, groups and personal data come together is not built on the side in six weeks. Not if security is truly to be priority 1 and not just written in the blog. We could deliver faster – but then it would be worse. Good apps take time. We would rather take that time than risk your trust. Until then, we keep building, week by week. Just as before. → Join now for free https://lottoprognose.ch/auth?tab=register Do you have an idea that is missing? Write to us. Otherwise the playbook would not exist. If you don't play, you can't win. Good luck. 🍀
