Most lottery AIs are a black box. Ours is a competition. There is a sentence you will find on almost every lottery website. It goes something like: "Our artificial intelligence calculates your winning numbers." The sentence is wrong. Not inaccurate. Wrong. No AI in the world – not ours, not anyone else's – can predict which six balls will fall from the drum on Wednesday or Saturday evening. The draw is a physical process without memory. Ball 36 doesn't know it was drawn last week. It doesn't know anything. So why do we operate eight AI methods? Because between "predicting the future" and "doing nothing" lies a very large, very interesting space. And it is in this space that we work. 3,830 Draws. 22,980 Numbers Drawn. A Dataset Since 1979. On April 7, 1979, the first SwissLotto balls rolled. Since then, there have been 3,830 draws – once a week in Phase 1 1979–1996 , and twice a week since 1997: every Wednesday and Saturday . This results in 22,980 individual number draws, an average of 547.1 per number . That is the raw material. And it is honest raw material: large enough for real statistics, but not large enough to conjure magic from it. Eight methods work on this data. Simultaneously. Against each other. The Eight Methods – Exactly What They Really Do We are not describing textbook definitions here, but exactly what runs in our generator. The difference is important to us. 1. Frequency Analysis Which numbers have historically appeared most often? The basis of any analysis – measured across 22,980 number draws with an expected value of 547.1 per number. Currently hot: 36, 3, 31. Currently cold: 41, 37, 11. 2. Poisson Weights numbers according to their deviation from the statistical expected value. Poisson doesn't answer "which number comes up", but rather "which number is conspicuously far from where it should be". 3. Markov Chains Slight weighting based on number patterns – even/odd and number ranges. Not clairvoyance, but a structural correction that prevents a combination from tipping into one corner of the field. 4. Monte Carlo Thousands of simulated random draws. This brute force approach makes distributions visible that are difficult to see analytically – such as how rare "inconspicuous" combinations actually are. 5. Bayesian Inference Combines prior knowledge with each new draw. The model starts with an assumption, sees the next result, and updates itself. Then again. Not smarter in a clairvoyant sense – more precise in its uncertainty. 6. Fourier Cycles Overlays the frequency analysis with a periodic daily cycle. Borrowed from signal processing: an oscillation that adds a temporal component to pure frequency. 7. Regression Weights higher number ranges in addition to frequency analysis. A deliberate counterweight to the birthday bias that pulls the entire player field downwards – more on that shortly. 8. Ensemble Majority decision of all other methods. There is no single correct lottery formula. One method recognizes trends, another cycles, a third rare outliers. When they all run simultaneously, their weaknesses balance each other out. The result is more robust than any single method alone. Not more accurate in the sense of "wins more often" – but more stable in what statistics can achieve at all. How the AI Distributes Influence This is where the real difference lies compared to any simple number generator. After each official draw , the AI compares the suggestions of all eight methods with the numbers actually drawn. Methods that were close get more influence on the next recommendation. Methods that missed get less. The adjustment happens automatically. Week after week. You don't have to do anything. What the ranking means: Position 1 is currently the most accurate method and counts most heavily in the recommendation. Position 8 counts the least – but is never completely switched off . This is intentional: An AI that only follows its current favorite falls into a single track and loses the ability to recognize rare patterns. The last place is the insurance against its own tunnel vision. Where the weighting takes effect – and where it doesn't: The learned weighting applies exclusively in the "Ensemble All " method. There, the AI mixes all eight methods according to the current ranking. If, on the other hand, you select an individual method in the generator, it calculates purely and unchanged. You then see exactly what you selected – without any silent admixture in the background. That too is a transparency decision. Time Decay: Why 1983 is Quieter Than Last Week Additionally, a time weighting runs across all methods: Age of Draw Weight Yesterday 1.00 1 Year 0.50 2 Years 0.25 5 Years 0.03 A draw from five years ago therefore counts roughly 32 times less than one from last week. This is built deliberately: Drawing machines, balls, and procedures have changed over 46 years. A model that weights 1983 as strongly as 2026 is not a good model. And Now the Truth That Should Be Sold – But Rarely Is Ready? Here it is: Your choice of numbers does not change your probability of winning. Not by a single percentage point. Not by a single per mille. Each of the 5,245,786 possible six number combinations is exactly equally likely. Whether you pick 1 2 3 4 5 6 or a combination calculated by our AI: Your chance of hitting the jackpot is 1 : 31,474,716 6 correct plus matching lucky number and 1 : 6,294,943 for six correct without a matching lucky number. No AI can change that. Not with eight methods, not with eight hundred. So why do we do all this? Because there is one single real lever – and it's called payout sharing . The Only Real Lever: How Many You Share With If you hit the jackpot, you don't get the entire amount. You get it divided by the number of all others who picked the same combination. And people do not pick randomly. They pick birthdays. They pick patterns on the ticket. They pick "nice" numbers. This creates massive imbalances: 26.2% of the number field 32–42 is not reachable via birth dates at all – 11 of 42 numbers are systematically under picked. This is exactly where method 7 comes in. 81.6% of all combinations have a balanced ratio of even to odd numbers 3:3, 2:4, or 4:2 . Only 2.1% are completely even or completely odd. This is exactly where method 3 comes in. 70.3% of all combinations have a digit sum between 100 and 158. These values are not estimates. They are calculated exactly across all 5,245,786 combinations. So what our AI delivers is not "the winning numbers". It is a combination that lies statistically clean within the field while avoiding the overcrowded patterns. You don't win more often because of it. But when you do win, you share, on average, with fewer people. That is a small lever. It is the only one that exists. And we are fairly certain we are the only ones telling you this so directly. You Don't Have to Trust Us – You Can Read It Yourself Every prediction includes an AI explanation : plain text explaining why a particular number is in the suggestion. Which method weighted it highly. Which pattern lies behind it. In addition, there is a confidence score from 0 to 100 – and yes, sometimes it is low. That's not a bug. When the data situation is thin, we tell you, instead of dressing up a number. Every prediction is also verified: mathematically calculated, AI checked, data integrity confirmed, with a unique prediction ID. No subsequent changes. No "we actually predicted that" moments. What You Really Get Out of It An honest assessment in four points: You don't get: a higher probability of winning. That doesn't exist. Not with anyone. You get: a combination that avoids overcrowded mass patterns – the only mathematically real advantage in the lottery. You get: transparency instead of a black box.
